Buying a house 3000 miles away, in a new community you've only seen once is a challenging
prospect! It's even trickier when the house needs to meet accessibility requirements for a
handicap, location requirements to keep it near family, and timing requirements for a cross country
move. I faced all these problems when I went house hunting in Havelock. Luckily I found Belinda,
and she helped me find the right house. That was only the beginning of the saga however since
the house was in the early stages of construction and would not be ready for several months. In
the meantime there were countless decisions to be made on lighting, flooring, paint and other
details. Belinda patiently coordinated all of it with the builder, working with me by email while I still
lived in California. When the house was ready and the deal ultimately closed she helped me with
information on utilities and local suppliers so I could get started. Now I'm ready to move across the
country and start a whole new life in retirement. I couldn't have done it without her patience and
help. She set a standard for service that is unmatched in my experience and I am grateful to have
found her and worked with her!
